Project Description

Recently we were approached by the Pocktoberfest team to assist them with the promotion of their beer festival. The task was to drum up interest and try and sell as many tickets in the 3 week period as possible, however given the event is a charitable one budget was incredibly limited.

Our team developed a strategy focused around creating and promoting an event through the Facebook page that the festival already had up and running. A small amount of budget was put behind the event that boosted it to the surrounding areas, as well as creating and pushing out relevant content that would keep the event at the forefront of peoples minds. Community pages, that are free to use, were also made the most of which received a great level of engagement.

Even though the amount of time we had available to us was very limited, we were able to sell 250 tickets prior to the event. On the day, an additional 200 tickets were sold taking the total up to 450 people in attendance. Historically the event has been slow to start on the day, however because of the large number of tickets we sold prior to the day and the level of promotion through social media Pocktoberfest had people queuing outside an hour before the event started!
